Google to run on 100% renewable energy starting 2017

This week Google has proclaimed its complete worldwide business enterprise will be driven by sustainable renewable energy starting 2017.

Google first made its promise to be solely powered by sustainable renewable energies in 2012. Since then the business entereprise has set out on an intense approach to eliminate any reliance on power generated from non-renewable fossil energy sources.

The announcement made by, Urs Hölzle, Google’s Senior Vice President for Technical Infrastructure, stated “This is a huge milestone. We were one of the first corporations to create large-scale, long-term contracts to buy renewable energy directly. Today, we are the world’s largest corporate buyer of renewable power, with commitments reaching 2.6 gigawatts (2,600 megawatts) of wind and solar energy. That’s bigger than many large utilities.”

Google is not the only one on its push to electrically power a worldwide corporation using sustainable and renewable energies. Why is organic content so important?

Why is organic content so important?

Content has always played a huge roll on search engine optimization, and it can become the make or break point for websites. Yet there is not for sure tactic or strategy that will work 100% of the time. This is why it is so important to know what truly creates a relevant article that will allow for higher ranking on search.

Crawlers follow hierarchy structure, it is important not to overuse higher headings as it confuses the structure of the website. Content must be well formatted and make sense to the reader. Content that has just been written for the crawler aka robot will not only create confusion to the structure but can negatively impact your website's search rank.

Everyone in the world of optimization knows content is king. But reposting content and reusing content word for word can have negative effects on a website. This is why it is so important to use only relevant content that is original.

Forcing keywords, people will tell you, you must use the keyword twelve time and must link your keywords ten times, and this and that and nothing happens. The keywords will come naturally as you talk about the subject search engine optimization is not about how many keywords you can force in. It is about how long people stay on your site. How credible websites are linking to you.

It is all part of the algorithm, let's face it people do not want to put work in. They want to create some type of machine that automates everything. Wrong! The search engine has been built to learn from humans. Machines can not teach search machines. Do the homework. If you do the work you will get the results.

Stay consistent write consistent content, and make sure it is original or close enough. Learn what is relevant to your topic. If you feel you need help contact Seowebpower in Irvine, CA.

A totally rebuilt Google Sites

posted Jun 14, 2016, 8:39 AM by Rafael Hernandez   [ updated Aug 21, 2017, 12:08 PM by Blog Poster ]

A totally rebuilt Google Sites

As we all know Google Sites has been due for a major overhaul. Today June 13th 2016 Google has announced on their Google Apps Updates that this will in fact be happening. As of today they are allowing early adopters to register on their Google Sites Early Adopters program.

What does this mean for Google Sites?

All that are avid users of Google Sites know there are a lot of limitations when it comes to using Google Sites. Most designs and layouts for Google Sites are very last decade looking. A lot of newer sites today look completely different with a lot of visual appeal, something that is truly lacking in Google Sites.

Features stated:

  • Drag and drop options
  • More responsive web layout to all devices
It seems as though this is not the only updates to come to Google Sites in the next months. Google has also stated that they will continue to work on Google Sites to bring several new features to be disclosed at a later time.

Why this is so significant?

It is great to see Google has been hard at work, for a while it seemed as if Google Sites had become an abandoned application.

Hi, welcome to atmosphere digital. Thanks for joining our google apps for work event, What's driving forward thinking businesses. In google docs called voice typing. What you've just seen is one of our newest features It makes taking notes a snap, Especially while on the go with a tiny keyboard. I'm maureen bradford, director at google for work And  I 'll be your guide through the next hour. Before we scan the agenda, Take a sec to check out the features on your screen.

The swirling dots are actually a social visualizer, An easy way to see how people are reacting to content. You can also ask questions live And we have our google experts ready to chat And answer questions real time. Okay. Now, here's what you'll experience in today's event. First, we begin with the global perspective. It's estimated that every day, An average of about 100,000 plus businesses are started.

Now, what determines which ones fail And which ones succeed? Well, here at google apps, We'd like to help you answer that question. Rich rao, who leads our global sales And is a long-time googler, Will share the three common characteristics Of our most successful customers. And then to pan out to a wider than google perspective, We'll hear from the united states Federal chief information officer Tony scott. He will share his perspective.

On what makes businesses successful Including his view on the internet of things And business transformation As he leans on his executive leadership experience Leading at disney, microsoft and general motors. After tony, we'll complement these perspectives By handing the mike to an array of forward-thinking businesses

That have gone google with google apps, Including salesforce, Woolworths, concha y toro, we work and made.Com. We'll wrap our insights discussion With a sit-down with tony fadell, Founder and ceo of nest, Considered the father of the ipod And recent hall of fame member On vanity fair's "New establishment list" As one of the world's top 25 disruptors. Tony and rich will hold An alphabet on google conversation On the key ingredient for disruption. Why businesses need to "Think younger," In tony's words, And what really prevents companies from excelling. And finally, to close our event, We invite you to join in an interactive demo Of google apps' most popular features With our atmosphere team behind the scenes.

But now, without further ado, Let's turn it over to rich for the three most common traits Across our 5 million apps customers worldwide. Hi, everyone,  I 'm rich And during the last nine years  I 've worked on google apps, Where  I 've been witness to significant evolution. Even what people think Of as the classic enduring logo of google Has evolved over the years With the latest change just occurring. And more specific to apps,

You can see that our first website Took on a much more humble form And has evolved to the point Now where millions of people come to engage with us today. At an industry level, Things have evolved extremely rapidly. Seven years ago, a book called the big switch Predicted the move From on-premise computing to the cloud. But even as we reflect back, some at google, Including myself  I  have to admit, Have been surprised at just how quickly This transition has occurred.

And if it feels to you as if business around you Is also evolving at a faster pace, It's because, well, Actually business is evolving at a faster pace. And the data supports that. In the 1950s the average company Joining the fortune 500 was 75 years old. In 2013, that figure shrank to just 10 years old. Here's another data point. It used to take decades for a company To reach the $1 billion market capitalization point. These days companies reach that in just a few years. And in some unicorn cases, just a few months even.

Now part of what's driving this is the digital transformation. As consumer technology gets more powerful, Entirely new business models emerge. And some of those new business models can disrupt.

What was his name conundrum. How to Growth Hack your portfolio in to your investors and followers mobile phone

What was his name  conundrum. How to Growth Hack your portfolio in to your investors  and followers mobile phone

The challenge

One of the biggest challenges for startups, Entrepreneurs, and business are ho to make sure potential investors, backers or followers do not forget about them.

Unfortunately business cards, emails, and phones call are not cutting it.

What was his name?

Many time in the past, I looked to my Rolodex, desk drawers and a stack of  business cards  and I could not find "what was his name?".  Knowing I just found someone that is willing to look at the subject matter since he said he wants to investor had the interest to team up.

Problem worth solving

I thought this is a  "problem worth solving".  I have been there, many times in  the past and having  opportunities to meet few entrepreneurs every week, then clearly I knew the danger of the of having a " problem worth solving".

You know, sometimes that means working on a perfect solution for years.

I knew innovation in "Knowledge Age" means to Growth hack the idea. To find, integrate, mix and match the best available applications. Better solution than starting from the scratch.

Unfair advantage

My "unfair advantage" is  having a team that has knowledge and experience working with Google for work and Google application.

We mixed  close to fifteen (15) Google application and embed them in a Google Sites. We created a mobile friendly web page which once it is accessed, it carries all our info, bio, pictures, links, vCard, maps, Social Media, Email and more.

Furthermore, one cal click to   :call", "text", "email:,"share" and more.

knowledge age innovation

For sure this is not an original idea since from 17-century people have been exchanging business cards  and since the introduction of the mobile phone, there have been many, many attempts.

The fact is people still get the card(web page) and download the info to their mobile contacts.

Just to be part of the community of entrepreneurs , we decided to renovate.

I knew for the fact, innovation is not making the light bulb  or inventing something from scratch. In the "knowledge age," one need to mix and match what is powerful and works and make something useful.

I decided to start with based and most solid base that I knew off. "Google applications"

My team and I mixed over 15  Google applications and came up with what is called " Digital Portfolio Card".  Sorry, we still had used the word card in order to communicate what it is, knowing this is not a card.

We want you to test it. The 1st, ten (10) applicant we receive their " Digital Portfolio Card" for Free.

Mobile App Business Card

How does it work?

Why Isn't Your Business Card Digital?

posted May 12, 2016, 8:38 AM by David Khorram   [ updated Aug 21, 2017, 11:45 AM by Blog Poster ]

Why Isn't Your Business Card Digital?

You know, we live in the most socially connected, digital era in human history but  yet we're still passing around our contact information on a piece of paper invented in 17 century (Tradecards) . Why?

Ok, think about this, everything we do today in business is digital. We started off with carrier pigeons, then we moved to the Pony Express, then the Postal Service with your mail, then to your email and now more people are using Facebook and Slack messaging to communicate with each other.

Your storefront became your website and More people are doing business online than they are from their store.  More people using their mobile phone to communicate and do business than ever before?

Everything is transitioning to a digital world, yet we're
still each other a piece of paper with our contact information. It just doesn't make sense!

“I have a drawer full of business cards, and I can never find the one I need when I need it,” he said. “They’re useless.”

"Ask yourself right now. At any time, are you closer to your mobile phone or your or your client's business card? "

Why there is not a good solution in the market?

Because we are asking the wrong question.

"Digital business card" topology & description does not fit the model. Is not a "card" , is a "mobile web page".

Our profiles and business information have expanded in the digital world. We change our job, our address, our phone number, and our social media profile sometimes in monthly basis.

Our clients want to find us in at least in 5 to 10 different portals in less than a second.

"There are over 7 billion people in the world. An estimated 4.8 billion of them own mobile phones, but only around 4.2 billion own toothbrushes."

You want and need it faster and better now!

We noticed many people wishing for paper cards in an events or engagement . They do not want to have to pull out their mobile phone, unlock it, open the app, and try to  find the right card, and then end up just having to email it anyway.

They want the eye contact, a question ( Mobile number)  and texting a link that carries all their web profile.

They want an easy way to open up a conversation that uses their best tool ( Mobile phone)

You want to cut cost and increase efficiency

We designed the "Digital Profile Page" using Google cloud and apps. This way you can use the power Google web development, knowing you are getting the best and most reliable cloud applications at the lowest cost .

Your unique "Digital Profile Page" in the Cloud is;

  • Individually Designed for you and your business or ideas.
  • Embedded on your client, customer, and your mobile devices.
  • Always available! ( Google sites SLA)
  • Designed specifically for Smartphones and tablets.
  • Web-based page, No App required!
  • a iOS and Android Smartphone compatible
  • Free and if needs to be customized , very Cost Effective.
  • Used for business, idea launch, CrowdFunding hobby, Real Estate, eCommece, sporting clubs, personal etc.
  • Three updates are included per year
  • QRcode ready
  • A paperless business cards good for the environment
